Chairman

Majed Abdulla Al-Khan

Majed AlKhan is a renowned businessman who brings more than 23 years of extensive experience in real estate private equity and assets management to Infracorp. He is a recognized financial engineer with more than 1 million square meters of completed flagship developments under his leadership.

Majed’s objective is to lead Infracorp to be recognized as one of the key international groups specializing in developing and investing in sustainable social infrastructure projects through creating a platform whereby stakeholders can achieve wealth optimization. Majed chairs and holds a number of directorships including Chairman of Gulf Holding Company (GHC), Chairman of ASK Real Estate W.L.L., board member of Balexco B.S.C, Falcon Cement B.S.C., Tunis Bay Project Company and Royal Parks Marrakech.

Majed holds a B.A. (with honors) in International Finance and Accounting from Newcastle's Northumbria University at Newcastle, England and had taken executive roles in HSBC Middle East and Inovest Bahrain prior joining Infracorp. He was also named one of Forbes Middle East’s Most Impactful Real Estate Leaders of 2024, leading the Bahraini market.

Salah Sharif

A key player in the strategic management of the Group’s core operational functions, Salah Sharif, Chief Operating Officer of GFH, is also responsible for ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence across the Group and its Special Purpose Vehicles and Project Companies. He has more than 30 years of regional and international exposure to conventional and Islamic banking and finance, with experience across commercial and wholesale banking and in industrial and infrastructure advisory sectors. In addition to his executive role at the Group, Salah also serves on a number of investee company boards. He is the Chairman of Falcon Cement Company, Vice Chairman of Infracorp, and a Board Member of Khaleeji Commercial Bank, GBCorp and CapCorp.

Prior to his current role in GFH, Salah was seconded as the CEO of Cemena Holding Company (CHC), an industrial subsidiary of the Group, one of the largest cement holding companies in the MENA region. Previously, he held a number of senior roles in leading, global financial institutions, including American Express and Standard Chartered Bank where he held key executive positions.

Salah holds an MBA from the University of South Wales, UK. And most recently, he completed the Senior Executive Leadership Program offered by Harvard Business School, Boston, USA.

Dr. Nasr Gaafar Salama

Dr. Nasr is a legal industry veteran with over 29 years of extensive experience in Egyptian and GCC commercial and civil law, company law, intellectual property law and investment laws. He is also an expert in drafting all types of commercial, contracting and franchise contracts. Dr. Nasr is the manager and owner of the Law & Legal Advisory Services Centre in Egypt, and Legal Advisor to Al Shaya Group of Companies, Kuwait and Egypt, Madi International Group, Dar Al Shifa Hospital, Kuwait, Silver Star Company, Kuwait and Lebanon, Al Shaya Marine, Kuwait, GFH Financial Group, Bahrain, and several other companies in the GCC region.

Dr. Nasr is a registered lawyer with the Cessation Court and the Supreme Administrative Court in Egypt, a member of the Arab Lawyers Association, the GCC Commercial Arbitration Centre, the Supreme Arab Human Rights Activists Council and the Egyptian Judges’ Club as an international arbitration consultant.

Dr. Nasr is an international accredited arbitrator "Consultant in International Arbitration” / International Association for Arbitration and Legal Studies, a member of the Gulf International Federation of Arbitration, accredited arbitrator in the Commercial Arbitration Center for the GCC States (Ahmed Najm Center / Bahrain) in the Commercial Arbitration Center for the GCC states/ Bahrain and an accredited international arbitrator in the Arbitration Committee of Rawafed Arbitration Center/ Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Cairo University (1989), a PhD (professional) in International Commercial Law from the University of Cambridge (UK, 2012), an Advanced diploma in contracts and Islamic commercial jurisprudence from the Bahrain Institute for Banking and Financial Studies (BIBF, 2020).

Mohamed Ahmed Buhajeeh

Mr. Buhajeeh is serving as the Acting CEO of GBCORP B.S.C. (c) since August 2020 in addition to holding the position of Chief Administrative Officer since June 2016, along with sitting on the Board of some of the investee companies of GBCORP B.S.C. (c) Mr. Buhajeeh has an overall banking experience of around 20 years and has worked with some prominent financial institutions in Bahrain including Arcapita and Kuwait Finance House with focus on Islamic Banking, Corporate Banking, and Project Finance.

Mr. Buhajeeh holds Master of Business Administration from Canisius College, USA and Bachelor of Science from USA along with Advance Diploma in Islamic Banking from BIBF.

Mohammad Yahya

Mohammad is an experienced commercial real estate investment professional with a track record in acquiring and managing over $4.5 bn of commercial real estate. Mohammad has exposure in multifamily, student housing, office, healthcare, retail parks, retail warehouses and mixed-use assets ranging from stabilized assets to direct developments and portfolio amalgamation strategies. Mohammad has acquired and managed assets across the USA, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Ireland, Netherlands and Finland. Mohammad has successfully exited investments, formulated new investment strategies, negotiated terms with joint ventures and lenders, and has experience across debt, preferred equity and common equity commercial real estate investments.

Mohammad is currently a Director in the Real Estate Investment Management team within GFH Financial Group. Prior to joining GFH, Mohammad was part of the Real Estate Investment Management team at NBK Capital and worked across both the Kuwait and Dubai Offices.

Mohammad holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management & Insurance from Temple University and a Master of Business Administration from Rotman School of Management – University of Toronto with a finance focus.

Ahmed Burashid

Ahmed Burashid is a seasoned banking professional with over 18 years of experience in the banking sector. Ahmed has a proven track record in managing and growing corporate, commercial, government, cross-border, and SME financing portfolios. He has extensive experience in capital market transactions, including syndications, club deals, and regional corporate fixed income (Sukuk) transactions.

Ahmed is currently the Head of Corporate Banking, Investments & Debt Capital Markets at Khaleeji Bank BSC. In this role, he is responsible for various initiatives such as budget, strategy, and growth plans.

Ahmed is also actively involved in various board and committee memberships, including Gulf Holding Company, Hope Talents, Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain, and several others. He is also a member of multiple committees such as the Sustainable Finance Committee in the Bahrain Association of Banks, Executive Credit & Investment Committee, Assets & Liabilities Committee, and the Executive Risk Management Committee in Khaleeji Bank.

Ahmed holds a Master of Science in Finance from DePaul University, Chicago, USA, and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with honors, double majoring in Finance and Economics, also from DePaul University as well.

Aamer Mohamed Al Khan

Aamer Mohamed Abdulla Mohamed Al Khan is an experienced businessman with over 24 years of extensive experience in real estate development, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, the food and beverage industry, and business development. Throughout his career, Aamer has made significant contributions to the real estate sector.

Currently, Aamer is the Business Owner of 23 International Groups in Bahrain, where he oversees a diverse portfolio of eight international food and beverage brands and leads a team of 700 employees. He has a proven track record of successfully launching numerous real estate projects and expanding renowned restaurant brands across several countries, including Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE, Oman, Turkey, France, and the UK. His primary objective is to drive the growth of award-winning restaurant chains while developing operational frameworks that enhance profitability. Aamer excels in negotiating high-value partnerships and managing complex operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

In addition to his current role, Aamer serves on the boards of several organizations in Qatar, including 23 International Doha, Executive Facility Management Group, QZS Doha, and Oryx Holding. Before venturing into his own businesses, Aamer was the CEO of Diyafa Holding, a subsidiary of GB Corp. He has also held senior executive positions at ADIH, Gulf Holdings, Batelco, and Bapco.

Aamer holds an MBA from Caldwell University in the USA, as well as a Series 7 brokerage license and CIPS certification.
